Rhiannon Mair is a music producer, engineer, artist and songwriter championed by Music Tech Magazine as one of the ‘UK’s rising stars of production’ She has worked with artists including Laura Marling, Bryde, Emma McGrath, and Kimberly Anne with her work receiving airplay on BBC Radio 1 & 2, 6 Music and Spotify New Music Friday. Following her nomination for Breakthrough Engineer and Breakthrough Producer of the year at the 2019 MPG awards Rhiannon was voted onto the board of directors for the Music Producers Guild and currently stands as one of their Executive Directors.
Rhiannon started her career in audio production by assisting on Port Erins Debut album, recorded at Real World Studios. After completing her degree in Music Technology at the University Of West London, Rhiannon pursued a career as both producer and artist, the latter being how Rhiannon ended up producing for others “I had some friends who were also artists and they really liked the production I’d done on my music and asked me to work with them. One thing led to another and now, I’m doing more production work than my own artist stuff."
As a songwriter, Rhiannon has co-written with artists including ARK, Kimberly Anne and Lanta as well as writing for brand clients such as Sky TV and Vision Direct. Last year she co-founded independent record label and publishing company Palm Bay Music and currently works from her home studio in Ramsgate, UK.
